- When pork chops are taken from the fridge, keep them out for at least 15 – 20 minutes.
- A cast-iron skillet is the best, makes pork chops golden brown properly. (nonstick and steel skillet can also be used).
- No need to keep the pork chops for marination.
- Do not burn the garlic, adjust the heat as needed.
- Don’t move the chops while they are searing.
- Don’t overcook the pork chops, the internal temperature should be 145 – 150°. Use the digital meat thermometer to check this.
- Let the pork chops rest for at least 2 minutes before slicing, to retain juices.

- To make honey garlic pork chops in oven, first preheat the oven to 400°F or 200°C. Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel, and season them with salt and pepper.
- In the heavy-bottom oven proof skillet / pan, heat oil on medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chops and sear them on both sides till they get golden brown. Nearly for 2 – 3 minutes on each side. Then keep the seared chops aside.
- Make honey garlic sauce for pork chops for marinade, use the same pan. Keep the pan on medium heat and melt butter in it. Add the minced garlic and sauté for nearly 30 seconds till fragrant. Next add honey, broth, vinegar and rosemary, salt, and pepper. Stir well. Increase the heat to medium-high and cook stirring occasionally. Cook till the sauce reduces and thickness for nearly 5 minutes.

For honey garlic pork chops, first, preheat the oven to 400°F or 200°C. With paper towel pat dry the chops.
Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. Take heavy bottom oven proof skillet / pan

Make honey garlic sauce, using the same pan. Keep the pan on medium heat and melt butter in it. Add minced garlic and sauté for nearly 30 seconds till fragrant.
Add vinegar, broth, honey, and rosemary. Mix well and season with salt and pepper. Now increase the heat to medium-high and stir well. Cook till the sauce reduces and thickens for nearly 5 minutes.
Add the pork chops to the pan, and baste it with honey garlic sauce. Bake it in the oven for 10 – 12 minutes. Before serving broil the chops for 1 - 2 minutes, till it gets caramelized properly. Broil the chops for 1 -2 minutes before serving, till it get carmeliezed properly. Serve the pork chops with honey garlic sauce with chopped thyme and rosemary.
Grilled Pork Chops With Honey Garlic Sauce
For grilled honey garlic pork chops, preheat grill / broiler on medium-high heat. Season the chops with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in frying pan/skillet on medium-high heat. Sear the seasoned pork chops on both sides, for 4 minutes on each side. Season them till they get brown and keep them aside.
Make honey garlic sauce as mentioned above.
Add pork chops to the pan, baste them with sauce. Broil / Grill the chops for 1 - 2 minutes, before serving till well caramelized.
