Should I thaw frozen ravioli before cooking?
There’s no need to thaw frozen ravioli before cooking. You will just need to cook it for an additional minute or two to ensure the filling is cooked through.
Is ravioli meant to float?
Stuffed pasta will float during boiling due to the air inside them expanding. It doesn’t necessarily mean the ravioli is cooked when it floats.
Can you cook frozen ravioli directly in sauce?
Yes, you can cook ravioli, frozen or fresh, directly in your simmering pasta sauce. Test your pasta after 3-4 minutes of cooking to see if done.
