She is a woman -.-. —This is an unsigned commentmade by 210.188.23.253 (talk • contribs). Please sign your posts with "~~~~".No. Mammon is a male. Now, why the hell has the article changed to Viper? The character considers himself Mammon and even technology named after him takes the Mammon name. And besides, the Chrome article isn't called "Nagi." HarlanPhoenix 03:47, February 20, 2010 (UTC)

Mammon's real gender has never been officially revealed, and that's that. Please, stick to the actual info there is and leave specualtion for forums. And VIZ just translates and not very accurately. They're far from an official source.
Also, half of the 'trivia' in this article is bios/plot overview material. No reason for that to appear again ont he 'trivia' Please, consider on removing some of it.
Thank you for your time
I find it a bit annoying how some stubborn fans refuse to believe that Mammon is a male. Always has been, and always will be.If you want proof, there is actual proof.
In my opinion I also think Mammon is a male because after all he didn't have breasts (woman bodily features) in his adult form.
HE is a male. it's common in shounen series that if you're not sure of the gender, it's a male. (ex. miharu from nabari no ou)

In Nabari it's officially stated that Miharu is a male. In KHR they've not stated if mammon is male or female, and it's simply hard to guess what's under a flowing robe. VIZ translations are not trustworthy, as they've proven with continuous mitakes.
I care not for those who believe Mammon is male or female. It's simply not known, and so the most accurate would be to leave it as 'unknown' until the author clarifies it. This is supposed to be an wiki to gather info as accurate as possible, not to gather gossip.

- But, in the english language when referring to people you can say he, whether or not it referes to a boy or girl. --The one that hovers over the Wiki... Chrome9669 23:43, July 31, 2010 (UTC)
- Overall, while there is a proper argument in the theory that he could be a girl, there`s solid proof that he`s a male. Thus, even if Amano has not officially revealed Mammon's gender, it's more than likely that he's a male.
- I think Mammon ist just like Neferpitou from HxH, Crona from Soul Eater or Hange Zoe from Shingeki no Kyojin. I think the Character is supposed to be androgynous, without a official confirmed gender. In my opinion, it's up to the fans if they want to see Mammon as male, female or neither. -M-Ra 16:22, December 25, 2014 (CET)
